Your photo album on The Andersonville Prison was very interesting. I learned a lot about the camp, as far as the amount of deaths and how it was “hell”. However, I think maybe you should add a little bit more information about the camp in general, maybe by adding an introduction page. Why was the camp built? Who were the prisoners? I also noticed that you did not really use any outside sources in your descriptions of the photos in your captions. Next time make sure you use outside sources and cite them. However, You did a good job citing your photos. Overall, you album was really interesting. I like your choice of photos for this album.

Hey kiddo! This was a pretty good picture album. It was such as sad topic and you handled it very well. There are tons of facts and this shows you know your stuff very well and did a lot of research. Also, your pictures all blend well together. Sometimes it is hard to stick with a theme and keep it going through out 7 different pictures. Also, I enjoyed the creative titles for each picture. It gives an extra special meaning to each picture. Some hints for the next picture album include, including an introduction. An introduction is very important because it prepares the reader for what they are about to read. Although you have a good title and do indeed prove the camp is hell, it would be more effective to explain this in an opening paragraph to the album. Plus, next time you might want to elaborate and really get into the pictures, it would be more interesting to hear your views. Also, since this is such a sad and tragic event, it would be easy to build up the emotion of the piece and bring out the readers emotions. This will definitely leave a longer impression on your reader. You might also want to add more to paragraphs. They are very educational but are too short for the desire of the professor. The album overall was very well written and your next one should be wonderful as well! Keep up the good work!

You have a very good reason to call that camp hell. The problems with your blog are as follows: you needed to write about a hundred words for each picture, they needed to be 19th century pictures, and have an introduction. The intorduction page needs a picture with a thesis of your topic. You did pick a very good topic to do a photo album on. You just didn't do a photo album.

Kyle, overall this was a very interesting post. However I feel there was alot more that you could have done with it, for instance using more information on the source by citing reliable online sources or by reading through the text book to find any relavent information. Another thing that I would make sure of is proof-reading your post before actually posting it, I noticed several spelling or tense errors. I did however love the pictures you used they were very eye opening especially when they correlated to your text. Just keep in mind the suggestions for the next post.
